DEMA 2008 coverage

Carol and I went to DEMA 2008 in Las Vegas and did a detailed, illustrated report for our ScubaDiverInfo.com site. It was a big and exciting show with lots of new gear, representatives from what seemed like 100s of wonderful dive destinations, and just about anything related to diving. So if you want to see what's new and hot (or what DEMA is all about), check our DEMA 2008 report! -- Conrad

Oh, and make sure you note Sue and Dave's new email addy: d_hudson at frontiernet.net (obviously, use the proper symbol and leave out the spaces. I just put them in to hopefully confuse spammer robots)

Scuba contemplations

Hi all! If you get really bored, check out some of my recent scuba diving thoughts and revelations.

If you want to know diving at altitude differs from diving at sea level, I explain it here. Or you may want to learn about Quarry diving in Tennessee. Interested in the world-famous Florida springs? I love them and frequently dive there. Finally, here's an account of our Tahoe dive last weekend. Hey, it's only an hour and a half from here!

Cabo

Following our meeting in June there were a few of us interested in going to Club Solaris in Cabo, San Jose in October the 19th-26th. There is a group going diving. You can join them by calling the RCI number 1-800-338-7777 if you are a member or the direct hotel number because it does except hotel guests. If you are interested in going diving you should talk to Dick Montgomery and get signed up, his number is 530-672-2961.
Cabo is a great dive area if you go North a bit. The fault line we dove a year ago was facinating and the schools of fish abundant.

GO FOR IT!
